Mindplay offers diagnostic reading systems to help all students learn to read.  Mindplay offers a

RAPS 360 is an interactive computer-based monitoring, analysis, and prescription system that provides teachers with an easy way to test, isolate deficiencies, and diagnose each student's specific reading abilities and weaknesses.   It provides teachers with much needed information on why a student is struggling.  RAPS 360 diagnoses a full spectrum of reading difficulties including eye tracking issues, and targets appropriate interventions in minutes. 

 

My Reading Coach is a reading software program that provides a personal reading coach and speech pathologist for every student.  The order of lessons is based on a model of speech acquisition: sounds and are presented based on ease of producing and blending sounds together.  The instruction begins with sound articulation and then sound/symbol association using written letters and emphasizing auditory and visual discrimination skills.  Once the letter and its sounds are introduced, the student begins a series of advanced phonemic awareness practice activities, visual and auditory recognition of words/images, visual and auditory discrimination among multiple words/images.  Fluency and comprehension are introduced within the context of 24 grammar lessons.
